Job Title: Chemical Laboratory Quality Control Technician
Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality control tests and inspections on raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods using analytical instruments and techniques.
- Perform chemical analyses such as pH testing, titrations, and chromatography to ensure products meet quality specifications.
- Interpret and analyze test results, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and instrumentation to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Document all test procedures, results, and observations accurately and in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Investigate and resolve any quality issues or deviations, working closely with laboratory and production teams.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new testing methods and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized laboratory workspace.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Previous experience working in a chemical laboratory or quality control environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in a variety of analytical techniques and instruments, such as spectrophotometry, chromatography, and titration.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tests and recording data.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot instrumentation and test procedures.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and ISO certification.
- Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
- Certification as a Laboratory Technician or similar credential.
